A white pilgrim

A white pilgrim

It’s four years since our John Paul II left for Heaven. Karolina from Class IId has written a poem. He travelled the world like a white snowflake in winter and green little leaf in summer while directed by a strong wind of need. His love of us was strong and very tender; in tears and laughter. Surrounded by children in need, suffering from illnesses, he embraced them with his helping hand. It was him who was smiling comfortingly, sympathizing with us. But he has gone and will never be back among us. I have always felt his presence. He has always been with me. His teaching seems to be like light, hope and life – the earthly garden in which I do want to live.
