The Besòs River

Posted on: February 13, 2009

The Besòs river is the Badalona’s river. People can go near it to play or spend the day but they can not swim. There is no enough water in the river, and it’s strongly contaminated. There are no trees in our river because the toxic waste, plastic bags and other problems. Now there is a plan to purify the Besos river water. Pau and Alexis from 6A class. Badalona

Hello, I’m Ferran. I want to talk about our Badalona’s river. Here is the river Besòs. The river Besòs makes the natural border between Badalona city (on the left) and Sant Adrià city (on the right). This river is not very long but is not too bad. On the right side of the river we can see the towers of San Adrián termic electric central. On the left side there is a walking path that also has a bike lane. Nearly all the route of the river there is also a lot of grass gardens. The Besos river is not a big river, because here it doesn’t rain a lot. Ferran Arqué, 6A class, Badalona.
