Badalona’s Arms

Good morning!
We are Mar,
Maria, and Claudia, three students from 6th B.
Today we want to explain you the Badalona’s arms and teach you about our shield.
The yellow and red bars, are the flag of Catalonia. (Catalonia is an autonomous country community of Spain).
Waves of light blue and dark blue represents the sea, because as you have seen from the photos we have put in this blog, we have a very large beach. (This is only a wonderful legend. The waves are from the feudal family arms of Badalona).
The crown that is above all, is a king’s crown. You know that Spain is a kingdom.
As you can see, there are two branches with leaves and fruit. The right is an oak tree, which symbolizes strength and power, and the left are olive branches, symbolizing peace and science.
Well, you know how the shield of Badalona is, we hope you enjoy!
Bye! See you soon! ♥
