e-cards from Europe

Greetings from Daleszyce and Kielce!

Posted on: February 4, 2009

We have survived safely the end of the first semester and start working hard! This is the main street in Kielce. It’s about 3 km. long. There are lots of shops, a few hotels, pubs, cafes, and restaurants there. Nobody can be lost there. It runs to the railway station.

Good work!. Wonderful photo from Sienkiewicz Street in Kielce. It looks a good place to walk, to buy, to spend time. Here, in Badalona, streets are narrow and short. Because they want to skip the powerful sun in summer. Your houses are a lot of windows but not balcony. Ours are little windows, to skip the hot sun, with big balcony to have dinner at nigth. In Badalona summer night are very hot too. I enjoy this photo. My pupils will understand the differences beetwen central Europe streets and climate, and Mediterranean streets and climate!. Best wishes from Badalona!.

Hi Daleszyce!
We are Lydia, Paula and the Marga from badalona. We think you put a very nice photo. Your city is very nice. It seems very clean. Our streets however are crowded of trash and pollution.
We do not use really much the media and public transport so we have so much pollution in Badalona. We hope that someday Badalona is very clean! ūüėČ
See you soon friends! ūüėÄ

ATT, Lidia, and Marga Paula:)
